Desert Dust Aerosol Computation in NRT from SEVIRI Images
Desert Dust is computed based on SEVIRI 1B images. The Aerosol algorithm uses
AOD550 and AOD865. Over ocean it is also possible to compute the Angstrom
Coefficient and subsequently estimate the aerosol speciation for five different
models: Maritime, Desert Dust, Continental, Urban and Biomass.
